Did you know that every single state in the USA has laws in place that legalize CBD use with varying degrees of restriction?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a substance that comes from the cannabis plant. Even though there are many benefits of using CBD, it can be difficult to know which type is right for you because there are so many varieties that you can purchase.

To help you out, we’ve created a guide that breaks down the most important types of CBD. Keep reading if you are interested in finding out more.

    Full-Spectrum CBD

Full-spectrum CBD is a type of hemp extract that contains a blend of CBD and other substances that are naturally present in the hemp plant.

This includes terpenes (substances that influence how a plant smells), flavonoids, essential oils, and small amounts of THC.

Many people choose to consume full-spectrum CBD products because they have various ingredients that work synergistically to improve their therapeutic benefits.

    Broad-Spectrum CBD

There are many similarities between broad-spectrum CBD and full-spectrum CBD. The main difference is that broad-spectrum CBD undergoes an additional process of extraction.

This ensures that there there is very little THC. But broad-spectrum CBD does still contain important compounds such as terpenes, essential oils, and flavonoids.

If you are looking for CBD types that are completely free of THC, it is important to understand that some broad-spectrum CBD products contain minimal traces of THC.

Therefore, people often refer to broad-spectrum CBD products as being “nearly THC-free.”

    CBD Isolate

CBD isolate is also called “pure CBD.” It does not contain any THC. It is also free of other compounds that naturally occur in the hemp plant.

This means that CBD isolate does not create the entourage effect. The extraction method gets rid of other cannabinoids, terpenes, and plant compounds.

If you are looking for a CBD isolate at a more affordable price point, you should consider purchasing CBN distillate.

    How to Consume CBD

The most common ways that people consume CBD include placing it under their tongues, oral ingestion, vaping, and topical application.

There are pros and cons for each method. If you want to feel the effects of CBD as quickly as possible, you should vape CBD or place it underneath your tongue.

It is also popular for people to orally ingest CBD. It is easy to do this because there are many different CBD products on the market such as gummies, candies, cookies, and brownies.

You should consider using CBD as a topical if you are seeking relief from pain or are trying to heal a skin condition.

Understand the Different Types of CBD

If you are confused about the different types of CBD, it is important to understand that the three main kinds of CBD are full-spectrum CBD, broad-spectrum CBD, and CBD isolate.
