If the puppy has a problem, to moisten the food one can make it wet or add some broth to make it easier for the puppy to chew. The puppy needs a small meal every few hours to sustain its growth. The nutritional plan needs to be checked by the vet frequently and aim for at least three to four servings of a meal.

By the time the puppy is twelve months old, the French bulldog goes under transitioning and requires wholesome food with a balanced diet.
