These days, traditional Indian wear include Indo western patterns and styles too. Women have the option to choose from several outfits. Indian wedding costume looks heavy, and with a few additions, you can change your look effortlessly. The clothing industry has witnessed a lot of changes regarding fabrics, colours, and sleeve patterns. The designers are moving away from mundane styles and are focusing on updated and new patterns that are stylish as well as comfortable. People prefer outfits that are comfortable to wear. When it comes to Indian weddings, brides like to go subtle.

Different fabrics and different colour combinations have given rise to new styles. Lehenga choli combinations have different styles such as sidecut, jacket style, and cape style lehenga choli. Lehengas are available in various cuts such as straight cut, flared cut, mermaid style, etc. Similarly, Salwar kameez is not a boring traditional Indian clothing anymore.

You can choose stylish Salwar Kameez such as dhoti style, Anarkali style, Patiala style, etc. Your outfit selection should be based on the occasion. Consider the nature of your event and then choose your attire. Right fabric and overall work influence the look of your clothing.

When you choose your traditional clothing, consider the following factors:

    • Try out Different Fabrics

Today, everyone every woman is conscious regarding her looks and so, they prefer to try new fabrics. When you wish to change the appearance of your clothes, then you have to try out an exclusive material and it would be the best if you select material grounded on the season as this way, you will feel comfortable. The most commonly used fabrics happen to be chiffon, silk, and georgette. Again, you can try velvet too when it is a winter season.

    • Experiment with Different Dupattas

For giving your traditional clothing a different look, you can try out a different dupatta. You will find dupattas in various colours and designs and they can glam up your look instantly. This is the reason; you must have at least 4-5 dupattas for different kinds of clothing.

    • Try Various Bottom Styles

It is very easy to team up Indian clothing with different bottom styles and they will improve your look drastically. When you wish to experiment with something different, then you can try cigarette pants, dhoti pants, or simply palazzo pants. However, never miss this aspect of matching your bottoms with your kurta.

    • Improve Your Outfit with Tassels

Tassels are highly important as they add extra charm to the blouses, Indian lehenga choli, and salwar kameez. The good thing is you will find them in various colours and sizes and so, you can easily select them according to your taste and outfit.

    • Choose Exclusive Back and Sleeve Patterns

Back and sleeve patterns might look like simple parts of a garment but they do more than just covering your arms. You can twist traditional Indian clothing with a well-constructed and well-designed back and sleeve pattern. When you wear a nicely fitting sleeve then it will make a huge difference to your garment by making it comfortable.

    • Opt for Something which is Exclusive

Today, women wear salwar kameez and lehengas combos in unique works and though the majority of the heavy looking outfits come embellished, for being a little different, you can attempt something different, like mirror work, zari work, or thread work.

    • Include a Contemporary Component

You must not ever forget the fact that classic never dies and it is pure style. Today, women are moving towards contemporary as it works effortlessly and that too season after season. There are countless classic styles and so, you can easily utilize them for giving your outfit a new and different style.

    • Always wear the Right Footwear and Accessories

Commonly, women wear Indian dresses when they attend a wedding or in festivals and so, wearing statement earrings or a neckpiece is ideal for these occasions and it will provide you with an overall look. Again, you must never forget the aspect of wearing an excellent pair of footwear. However, your footwear and accessories should match your outfit efficiently well.

    • Have a Glamorous Handbag or Clutch

It is said that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but can you deny the significance of a glamorous handbag or a clutch? A glamorous handbag or a clutch can easily change the look of your outfit in no time. No matter you are heading towards a formal event or office, you must have a handbag. Glamorous handbags and clutches become all the more important when you aren’t very much attached to accessories. These days, clutches are found in numerous colours, shapes, and sizes and shimmery clutch can work wonders for both lehenga and salwar kameez. On the other hand, a modest handbag does blend excessively well with a salwar kameez or kurta pajama combo.

When you follow the above-mentioned tips then you will certainly look your best regardless of the Indian wedding dress you decide to wear. To enjoy fantastic shopping, you can browse through different Indian clothing from the internet.
