The Story
DeeAnne White is an entrepreneur, writer, traveler, American expatriate and lover of cricket, golf, wine, Jimmy Choos and life.
Born in Dallas, she’s been everything from a young wife and stay-at-home parent, to a busy single mother beginning her career in Orange County, California, to a Fortune 50 Executive Vice President living at the Ritz Carlton Chicago.
As one of the few women to reach the top tier of the investment distribution industry, DeeAnne had the good fortune to help others take control of their own financial well-being, to travel endlessly and to live what some would describe as a dream life. She learned how to be strong and self-reliant, but most importantly she learned that it’s always okay to be well mannered, especially in business.
DeeAnne is now building a new version of a lovely life, in which she’s writing her first novel, learning French, relearning how to stay in one place for longer than a weekend, falling in love with a brilliant Englishman, unsuccessfully searching for her inner Nigella Lawson, making room in the closet for a pair of Wellies to sit alongside the Christian Louboutins, and dreaming of driving a vintage convertible through the European countryside with her coral scarf trailing in the wind behind her.
She believes that being elegant has nothing to do with money, that you can be both successful and ladylike, that every child should be taught art, history, kindness and the basics of investing, and that you should always have chilled Champagne on hand, because you just never know when you might have something to celebrate.
{DeeAnne’s been interviewed by JetSetCitizen, and featured on 44 Creative and Adventurous Bloggers You Should Know. DeeAnne is a writer and speaker on career, lifestyle, investment and entrepreneurial topics. Her book “LiveCharmed~The Elegant Guide to Lifestyle Design” is due out later this year.}
