That happiness and confidence is contagious. It displays a truly positive outlook on life and an upbeat attitude that can be admired by many.

You are right. A smile is a pretty powerful thing. So powerful it can actually change your entire mood. Isn’t there a study that proves that even if you’re not happy, if you just put on a smile, you will suddenly feel happier? Thanks for the reminder that more important than the hairstyle or clothes I’m sporting today is the expression I’m wearing on my face.

Well, I’m smiling now! I have had a cold so I’ve been a little been down in the dumps, concentrating on getting better. I can just slow down and smile.

My friends say my laughter and dimpled-smile is contagious, but it’s not only because I genuinely love to laugh, but because I know the affect is has on people.

I get the comment all the time “You are just always happy, aren’t you? Smiling and happy.”

Only occasionally does it get old. Like when I’m smiling but really feeling like crying. The majority of the time, however, it just makes life easier to smile. People react better when you are smiling. People can tell you are a nice person when you are smiling. People smile in kind when you are smiling.

That would be a great day, if everyone smiled.

A girl can dream! Did you know it takes half the muscles to smile as it does to frown? Man, how freaky would it be to walk down a street and see everyone smiling? A glimpse of heaven, I think.
